Using the words and sentences to make 3D representations of the space:

Thinking of steps and mountains as well as tensile structures when creating the shapes.

Developing the words further I made a collage to inspire my design and the feeling of the place.

The words describe both the feeling I want and how I see the current space as well as some keywords for the scheme and users of the space. The mountain in the middle of the building together with the step-like folded paper formed my idea of the interactive stairs. A big centerpiece that reminds you of climbing a mountain. "Our voices echo in the vast, cold concrete. Only to be heard by the dust." It could relate to how you climb a mountain or a valley and you can only hear your own voice echo in the vast landscape. But the only thing that hears your voice is the nature surrounding you.
