Fabric detail experimentation

When I started to research the detail more in detail I wanted to understand it by making some models of it. I started with a detail I found and then drew.

Application:

This turned out as I imagined, this will be one of the techniques I'll consider for my fabric. It will cover everything seamlessly and I can form it after any shape. The sake I was thinking of using them for is the columns. I can control the fabric in a way to shape it as I want it.

It is a great way to be able to control the material in the way you want it to behave.
